Hi y’all! My name is Stephanie and I’m a pretty simple, native Texas girl who loves Jesus, my husband Chip, our two rambunctious boys (Frank and Bob), family and friends, our little white trash paradise on the outskirts of Dallas, good coffee, good wine, writing, reading and Las Vegas getaways with my husband where we play blackjack for hours and pretend we’re fancy.
I’ll spare you the backstory, but my dream has always been to write. Books, blogs, articles, devotionals, you name it, I wanted to inhabit the space and be all up in writing from the heart. Mine to yours. So here we are… My ultimate dream for this whole endeavor is that this can be a place where we can be real, honest and raw. No walls, no pretense. Just real talk, unapologetic. But we can’t forget to give ourselves a big ‘ol break, and for the love can we please throw in some self deprecation?? It’s a lost art, people. We’ve forgotten how to LAUGH! So let’s loosen the corsets and have some fun.
In all honesty, my hope is that you will experience freedom in vulnerability, live a life of transparency, and always remember the grace and forgiveness extended to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
